Why Almora Hearth
What we offer that most services do not
Not a longer service list. Not bigger promises. A different kind of arrangement — one that starts by telling you clearly what we cannot do, then shows you exactly what we can.
Back to HomeCore Advantages
Six things that set us apart
No agenda of our own
Facilitators hold no view on the household matter under discussion. We keep the structure; the family makes the decisions.
Stated limits at the start
Every session opens with a boundaries panel — a plain paragraph naming what we are not. There is no ambiguity about scope.
Small groups, by design
Workshop cohorts cap at six households. This is a structural choice, not a capacity issue. Quieter voices need a smaller room.
Plain written records
You receive a summary of every facilitated meeting in language that any adult in the household can follow without a professional to translate.
Referrals when needed
When a topic requires a qualified professional, we pause and provide a current list of relevant contacts. We do not continue until the participant has had that support.
Household-based pricing
Every session price covers a household, not an individual. Multiple family members attend for the same fee — no per-person add-ons.
In More Depth
What each benefit means in practice
Facilitator training and conduct
All Almora Hearth facilitators complete accredited group facilitation training before leading any session. They are trained specifically in how to ensure all participants are heard, how to manage time across a structured agenda, and how to close a conversation that is not reaching agreement without leaving participants feeling dismissed.
Facilitators do not offer personal opinions on the matter under discussion. If a participant asks the facilitator what they would do in this situation, the facilitator declines and returns to the agenda. This is not evasion — it is the condition that makes the table useful to everyone sitting at it.
Document organisation that anyone can follow
Our document organisation service is designed so that the resulting folder can be used by any member of the household — including an adult child who was not present during the sessions, or a partner who manages a different part of household administration.
The printed contents page uses plain language. The issuing body for each document is noted. Where a document should be renewed, the renewal process is described in one sentence. The work is entirely clerical; we do not read documents for their legal meaning.
Service built around the family's pace
Workshop evenings are offered on weekday evenings to accommodate working households. Document organisation sessions are scheduled at times that suit the family, including weekend mornings. Facilitation programme meetings are scheduled with all parties before the arrangement begins, and can be rescheduled with reasonable notice.
There is no pressure to complete a session on a fixed timetable. If a facilitated meeting needs to end without reaching an agreed point on the agenda, it ends. The record reflects where the household reached, and the next session picks up from there.
Transparent, household-level pricing
All prices are published on our solutions page and apply to a full household. The workshop fee of RM 540 covers all members of one household attending all four evenings. There are no per-session cancellation fees provided reasonable notice is given.
If a household needs to pause a facilitation programme for a significant reason — a family member's health, an unexpected travel commitment — we hold the remaining sessions for up to eight weeks without additional charge.
What you leave with
After a conversation workshop, participants leave with a set of printed listening structure cards and a template for running a family meeting independently. After a document organisation engagement, households receive a physical indexed folder and a digital contents list. After each facilitation session, all parties receive a written summary within two working days.
These materials belong to the household. We do not retain copies beyond the arrangement period unless you ask us to.

What Only We Offer
Distinctive features
The boundaries panel
A short paragraph at the top of every service description stating what that service is not. It appears on this website, in our printed materials, and at the start of every session. Families tell us this is the thing they appreciated most — knowing the edges of the service before they walked in.
Three-month programme hold
Households in the facilitation programme can pause for up to eight weeks without losing their arrangement. We hold the remaining sessions. Life does not pause for a programme; the programme should hold space for life.
Listening structure cards
Workshop participants receive a printed card set with the listening structures used in sessions. These are designed to be used at a kitchen table without a facilitator present — so the skills developed in the workshop can carry into the household's own conversations.
Quarterly-reviewed referral lists
The referral lists we provide are reviewed every quarter. Contacts are verified as current, accepting referrals, and based in the Klang Valley. Families can trust that the list is up to date, not something assembled years ago.
